The company holds its core in manufacturing, designing, marketing, and distributing vehicles as well as their parts, such as cars (motorcars, normal cars), trucks, etc.
  2. Ford Global Technologies: An American automotive based multinational firm with headquarters in Dearborn, Michigan, secures second position in the list by registering 7,367 patents in Germany. The company holds its core in manufacturing commercial vehicles and automobiles, such as luxury cars, and owns Brazilian SUV manufacturer, Troller, and FPV.
  3. Denso: An automotive based manufacturing company with headquarters in Kariya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, secures third position in the list by registering 6,659 patents in Germany. It holds its core in supplying and manufacturing auto-parts.
