Time and again, we hear about the adverse effects of climate change on our resourceful planet and spirited human life. This adversity is inflicted by our own choices made in the past and those hurtful choices surely need to change. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Technology is probably the most scalable change driver for mitigating the burden of climate change. Continuous innovations in technology have made full-scale transformations possible in climate-change-causing industries. They have done so by providing end-consumers with more energy-efficient and\/or less waste generating alternatives. Many organizations are collaborating to develop technologies that accelerate efforts toward a carbon-neutral planet. JOHNSON are the companies with Average Geographical Spread more than 4.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"GREEN100%C2%AE_Index_Patent_Origins_Impact\"><\/span>GREEN100<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> Index Patent Origins &amp; It has increased its share by more than 300% in the current assessment period.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>United states while ranked 3rd in the Edition 2 Ranking in terms of number of Green patents \ufb01led, however, 23.86% of the high-quality patents are originated from USA. Patenting activity in Industrial Machinery and Metal processing show an increase compared to patenting activity of the ranked organizations in Edition 1 \ufb01ndings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transportation \u2013 Motor Vehicles and Parts is the next most targeted industry with 16.48% share and similar to the Edition 2 study, is the 2nd largest industry in terms of overall patent \ufb01ling.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Waste management is one of the biggest impact areas if we consider the entire, Green Patent portfolio, however, top 100 organizations contribute just 1.22% innovation share in this area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>*The Y02+ and Y04S+ sub-classifications of GREEN100<\/em><sup>\u00ae<\/sup><em>&nbsp;Patent Portfolio have been studied to define the industry nomenclature and derive the above insights.
