Role Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Searching & Analytics team at Sagacious IP. Key Responsibilities Areas
Patent Monetization:
 
  • 1. Providing Licensing Support to assist companies against their competitors.
    2. Developing Evidence of Use (EOU)/Claim Charts to assist with infringement lawsuits.
    3. Conducting patent portfolio analysis to assist with acquisition.
 
Patent Searching:
 
1. Performing Invalidation Searches to support defendants in infringement lawsuits.
2. Conducting Freedom-to-Operate (FTO) Searches to help companies launch new products/services.
3. Executing Patentability Searches to assist companies in filing new patents.
 
Technology Landscapes:
 
1. Conducting White Space Analysis to understand complete technology landscape.
2. Performing Competitor Monitoring to help companies understand their competitors’ technological directions.
 
Within these projects, the primary responsibilities include:
 
1. Ensuring the performance and comprehensiveness of various patent searches.
2. Efficienctly conducting comprehensive searches of technical and patent information using online database and other information resources.
3. Analyzing and summarizing of search results.
4. Providing insightful evaluation and analysis of results.
5. Preparing final reports and deliverables as per required standards.
6. Delivering timely, value-added patent search reports.
 
An individual working as a senior patent analyst is expected to have a thorough technical understanding since their work would be presented to Chief IP Counsels, Patent Attorneys, Inventors, Patent Engineers, etc. The candidate should have good command over the English language, as they are expected to handle projects independently from end to end.
