Christian provides IP consulting services for M&A & PE groups and looks at the intrinsic risk and value of their IP portfolios – focusing on patents and brand portfolios. He also advises medical devices, healthcare & high-tech industries. Working with patent attorneys & IP lawyers, Christian serves clients needs by offering a broad strategic view of portfolios from an investment perspective and builds portfolio value using his expertise, patent analytics and a range of machine learning tools.

Christian has worked extensively with and advised financial services, Private Equity/M&A, IT/software, supply chain, biotechnology, biosciences and pharmaceutical companies, and have spent a significant part of his career working in-house with financial institutions and investment organisations.

He has worked in private practice, as part of extensive multi-regional teams and as a sole in-house lawyer, developing and leading legal and business operations teams in England, Europe and Asia. He has gained an MBA from Fox Business School at Temple University and holds a B.Sc in Pharmacology. He is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales and holds a post-graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law from Bristol University, England. He has lived and worked in Asia from 2001-2019, gaining a broad expertise in all major Asian markets. He has served as a Board Director for numerous investment companies and banking subsidiaries and also acted as a Non-Executive Director.
