Scientists across the globe are in consensus that the threat of the climate change is real. The IPCC 2021 (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) report indicates Irrefutable role of human intervention and influence on the current sustainability threat. As per the 3,000-page report, over 200 scientists agree that global warming is the cause for rising sea levels and extreme weather occurrences. The current situation demands immediate, coordinated, and result oriented action by all the stakeholders including Governments, International Agencies, Businesses and Individuals to achieve the commonly agreed goals.

Sustainable development is thus the need of the hour, and so we recognize sustainable technological innovation as one of its basic building blocks. The world needs technological breakthroughs that can ensure environmental protection without hindering economic development. Corporates have a prominent role to play in the development and diffusion of the green technologies. In this highly crucial hour, those corporates that can successfully innovate for a greener future will survive and grow. So, it’s very helpful for the corporates to understand the current stage of the green technologies, identifying the gaps and strengthening their positions in the green-tech space.  When it comes to innovation drivers, intellectual property, especially patents, are undisputedly amongst the best indicators of contributions and efforts of business organizations towards a greener and cleaner future.

Sagacious IP in collaboration with FocusIP is hosting Green IP round table and workshop on the role of intellectual property (IP) in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in multiple cities across Israel starting January 11th and invites the key players and stakeholders involved in green technologies.

It will also feature a presentation of the just updated Green100 white paper on the leading sustainability technology players and trends, and the and the not yet published Israeli Green IP Index.

The event would be of interest to

IP leaders and professionals of the corporates working in the field of Green/Climate/Planet Tech

The IP law firms handling IP protection and litigation in the climate tech space

Attendees will be given free access to our growing library of green IP focused research, presentations and papers, and will be given a carbon footprint offset certificate for the day of their attendance.
