State-wise Contribution of Patent & Design Filings by MSME25 within India
- Maximum applications were filed by MSME25 companies from Karnataka.
- MSME25 companies from Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu also witnessed a significant rise in application filings.
- MSME25 companies from Gujarat, Kerala, Haryana, and Delhi are projected to achieve more than 100 application filings per state.

- WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) is the most preferable route for MSME25 companies to file their application outside India.
- Most foreign applications were published in the USA, followed by EP (European Patent Office).

Approx 40% of applications were filed in Engineering, followed by Information and Communications Technology (ICT), and Life Sciences (LS) with 30% applications in each field

- The maximum number of applications were filed in Automotive (Engineering), followed by Electrical & Electronics (ICT) and Biotech (LS) industries
- Manufacturing, Games, and IT also witnessed significant patent filings.
