About Ankur Gupta
Ankur holds M.Sc. in Biological Sciences from BITS, Pilani and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Patent Laws from NALSAR University, Hyderabad. He also completed his Executive MBA in Managing Business Decisions from IIM, Calcultta. He has experience of 12+ years in the field of patent analytics and currently heads the Life Sciences & Chemistry Team at Sagacious IP. He has closely worked on 100s of projects covering different and almost all aspects of research and analytics. His primary focus has been in Landscape Analytics, Invalidation searches, Patentability analysis, Due Diligence and Infringement Analysis.
He has expertise in various domains of Life Sciences – including Genetic Engineering, Biochemistry, Polymers, Catalyst Systems, Physical and Organic Chemistry, Food Sciences and Technology, Nanotechnology, Immunology, Markush Structure Analysis and projects in the area of Pharmaceuticals; various projects on Landscape Searches, Clearance Searches, Invalidity Studies, Patentability Studies and Infringement Analysis.

He has worked with clients in life sciences and chemical industry, providing IP solutions, with critical support on R&D, Clearance, M&A projects.
