Thanks for including me in this discussion. This “novelty” topic is always “devil is in the details” kind, and tend to be case specific. It was indeed a good refresher to re-visit the case law. My experience was fruitful. In general, it was useful to keep in touch with the recent case laws and connect with a niche group.

Thank you, I think it was very interesting and useful. I like the idea of choosing one particular subject of interest and going a bit deeper with a real expert. With a good choice of subjects I think it has the potential to become a little series of special events.

It was an interesting experience, The topic is quite narrow and I see it a little bit as "exploring the grey zones of one of the very few black and white matters of patents”. Bart is very knowledgeable and has a very objective approach the matter.

I thought it was interesting, I learned something about EPO practice and it also encouraged me to refresh myself on this area of the law, although it’s not one that comes up every day.

As for the value, it was very educational in terms of the focus on the law development, and my only suggestion would be to give some practical tips and suggestions. I found the experience to be informative and learned a few things regarding the European practice concerning novelty which could come in handy in the future. I do highly recommend continuing with the roundtables in the future. It is always good to learn and get a different perspective from others. In my case, keep me up to date with current events and the future of IP. If possible, I would like to attend more roundtables.
